Google Docs

Google docs is probably the easiest website that lets you save documents on it. It allows you to save work on an online database that you can access wherever you can access Internet.  All you need is a google account and then you will be able to explore the database for free. There are many purposes for this website, but for business purposes, if you are working on a document and forgot your flash drive at home you can easily save it to google docs and the access it from home.  For Social purposes, if you want to share something your working on with a friend you can put it on google docs and then you pulll it up and your friend from any other location can sign in and look at it. For News purposes, although google docs won't show you news updates, all you have to do is click the web and then you can copy a news article onto a document that you can share it with other people. The possiblities for sites like google docs are endless and can be useful for anyone in a world of buisness, social and news.

Linkedin

Linkedin was established in May 2003 and is mainly used for professional networking. It allows users to research companies which they may be interested to work for, which is also good for the business field. However, some facts that it gives you may not attract some people anymore, simply creating a bad effect on the business world. In the social world, Linkedin can increase your connections, for the more people that see your profile and like it, results in more people adding to your contacts. This can also be bad because there is a lot of personal information on Linkedin, which gives easy access to other people out on the Internet to get a hold of your personal information. Linkedin, also helps one be active with business news. It tells you about new jobs that have openings. However, this could be bad because it can cause a difficult time determining if the news on jobs is a scam, or real. There are many different point of views about Linkedin and has positives and negatives on how it works.

Facebook vs. Myspace

Facebook is one of the biggest social networking sites in the world and Myspace is right behind it. Myspace is not only a social networking website but is also for music and musicians to put their music on there to get it well known, while Facebook is mostly just for social usage. Besides music, Facebook and Myspace can both be used for Entertainment, and Recreational purposes. Myspace and Facebook are mainly known as Social Networking websites and is what their most popular use is. On these websites people can create a profile and talk to each other and make comments on their profile, pictures, and other comments they make on friends profiles. They can keep in touch with family and friends they don’t see often and keep in touch with anyone in the world. For entertainment purposes, Myspace is mainly used for music and musicians which is good for small bands trying to get their names out there. Facebook can do that as well but Myspace has more of an advantage in that department, even though it is the only department Myspace over rides in. For Recreational purposes, the people of Myspace and Facebook can use the websites not only to get in touch with old friends, but also plays games and used fun apps for entertainment. People can contradict each others opinions on Myspce and Facebook but it’s really your opinion that matters on which website fits you best to your needs and desires.

View on Twitter

Twitter is one of the biggest social networking websites and can be used for many different reasons. The way twitter work is that people makes a status or “tweets” on their page and their follower can like and comment what the status was about. Twitter can also be used for business, social, entertainment, news, and recreational purposes as well. Businesses can use Twitter for letting other employees and bosses what their doing and have them post it to twitter to make sure things are up to date and in order. For social purposes, Twitter is a great way to keep in touch with your friends and see what everybody is up to. People of all ages can use it for social purposes and enjoy following other people and seeing what is always going on. For entertainment purposes, people don’t only have to use twitter to keep up with their friends but with their famous actors, actresses, and idols as well. For example, Justin Bieber is a popular icon that currently has a Twitter and is followed by many people for entertainment purposes. For News purposes, people can go onto Twitter and look at what politicians are writing on their Twitters and followers can see first hand what’s going on in their government. People can also use Twitter for news like sports, where they can get updates and many other useful information. Twitter is goof for recreational purposes because you can post pictures and videos, but isn’t as good as blogging because the amount of words you write are limited. Overall, Twitter is a great source of communication and can be used for many useful purposes.

The World of Blogging

A blog is a good way to communicate with people and share you thoughts throughout the internet. A blog is a form of technology that allows people to post about anything that they would like, and others to follow their blogs and read that persons post. It can be used for all types of things such as business purposes, social networking, entertainment purposes, news, and entertainment. For all businesses, employees can get jobs done, to keep their work up to date, and show there boss they can post to a blog. It can also allow their boss to view it which can be very useful to any business person. For entertainment purposes, people can blog about their favorite sports team, TV show, or even local events happening that interests them. For social networking purposes, blogs can be used for anything from just writing to keep in touch with their friends to even blog dating. Anyone can blog about themselves and hope someone with similar interest will read it. For news purposes, this day in age columnists right on a blog instead of in a news paper. Newspapers are being quickly outdated by online blogging and internet news. The internet is easier and even cost less money the production of newspapers and even the purchase of them. For recreational purposes, someone can post whatever they want on their blogs and expect anyone and everyone to see their ideas and what they are thinking. Not only can they see the person’s ideas but they can also comment and give their opinion on the blog itself. Using blogs can be violent to some people and can be abusive as well. There are no filters or security in the blogging system which can result in harmful words and cyber bullying. In that case it is a very serious situation and can be considered against the law when it gets to a certain point. Other then that, blogging is a great new way to keep updated for sorts of people in the business, social, entertainment, news, and recreational fields
